Benjamin and Mary Jane Jones Evans

Benjamin Evans and Mary Jane Jones were married on October 10, 1872,

 in the Endowment House in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Both of their parents joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

 in Wales and migrated to Zion.

Mary Jane was born to Richard "T" Jones and Mary Evans

 in the Salt Lake Valley on January 17, 1853.

Benjamin was born on the 15th of March 1844 at Ystelyfara, Carmarthenshire, South Wales, to Thomas Lewis Evans and Jane "E" Davis.

Their children included:  Mary Jane (1873-1911), Sarah (1875-1878), Benjamin (1877-1878), Hannah (1879-1964), Adina (1883-1888), Thomas (1885-1969 ), Richard (1887-1965), Abinidi (1890-1926), Heber (1892-1972 ), Rachel Blodwin (1896-1978).

Hannah had her picture taken as a profile (left pic), because she had lost an eye as a young child and had not yet been fitted for an artificial eye.

 Mary Jane is seated on the second row, third from the left.  Her daughter, Hannah, is third row, center, fur-trimmed coat.  Millie, Heber's wife, is on Hannah's right.
